2. Collection and saving personal data as well as the type and purpose of its use

a) When visiting the website
When calling up our website www.bekuplast.com information will automatically be sent by the browser in use on your terminal to the server on our website. This information will be saved on a temporary basis in a so-called logfile. As this is being done the following information will be recorded and saved until being automatically deleted without you having to do anything:

  • IP address of the computer making an enquiry,
  • Date and time of access,
  • Name and URL of the file called off,
  • Website, from which access is made
  • Browser used and if applicable the operating system of your computer as well as the name of your provider.

The above data will be processed by us for the following purposes:

  • To ensure that a connection is  established to the website without any hitches,
  • To ensure that the website is easy to use,
  • To assess system security and stability as well as
  • For other administrative purposes

The legal foundation for data processing is Article 6 Para 1 of the Basic German Data Protection Regulations [DSGVO]. Our justified interest follows from the purposes for collecting data listed above. Under no circumstances do we use collected data for trying to identify you. In addition to this, we use cookies as well as analytic services for visits to our website. You may find more detailed explanations about this under No 4 and 5 of this data protection statement. 

b) When registering for our Newsletter
Insofar as you have granted your express consent in accordance with Article 6 Para 1 DSGVO, we shall use your e-mail address for sending you our newsletter regularly. The submission of your e-mail address alone will suffice for you to receive a newsletter. You may cancel the newsletter at any time, by means of the link at the end of each newsletter, for example. Alternatively, you may also inform us at any time by email sent to marketing@bekuplast.com that you no longer wish to receive our newsletters.

c) Contacting us by e-mail
We are offering you the opportunity to contact us via the e-mail address listed on the website for queries of all types. In doing so you will have to state your own valid e-mail address so that we can send you an e-mail and so that we know where the enquiry has come from and to enable us to process it. You may send us additional information on a voluntary basis. The data provided by you for the purposes of contacting us will be processed by us in accordance with Article 6 Para 1 a DSGVO on the basis of your consent. The personal data collected by us as a result of you contacting us by e-mail will automatically be deleted after we have dealt with your query.


3. Forwarding data

Your personal information will not be sent to third parties for purposes other than those below. We shall only pass your personal details on to third parties if:

  • You have granted your express consent thereto in accordance with Article 6 Para 1 a DSGVO,
  • Your personal details have to be forwarded in accordance with Article 6 Para 1 et seq. DSGVO to assert, exercise or defend legal claims and there is no reason for assuming that you have a prevailing interest meriting protection in your data not being forwarded
  • In the event that there is a legal obligation for your personal details to be forwarded in accordance with Article 6 Para 1 c DSGVO, as well as
  • If this is allowed by law and necessary in accordance with Article 6 Para 1 b DSGVO for handling contractual relationships with you.
     

4. Cookies

We use cookies on our web pages. These are small files which are automatically generated by your browser and stored on your terminal (Laptop, tablet, smartphone or similar), when you visit our website. Cookies do not do any damage to your terminal, they do not contain any viruses, trojans or other harmful software. Information is deposited in the cookie which relates in each case to the terminal used. This does not, however, mean that we are able to find out your identity immediately.

The use of cookies serves on the one hand to make it easier for you to see what we have to offer. This means, for example, that we use so-called session cookies to identify that you have already visited individual pages on our website. These are automatically deleted when you leave our website.

In addition to this, we also use temporary cookies likewise to optimise user-friendliness. These can be stored on your terminal for a specific set period of time. If you visit our website again to avail yourself of our services, they automatically identify that you have already visited our website and what inputs and settings you made to avoid having to enter them again.

On the other hand we use cookies to record the website use statistics and for the purpose of analysing our product optimisation (see No 5). These cookies enable us to identify automatically that you have already visited us when you return to our website. These cookies are automatically deleted after a set period of time has elapsed.

The data processed by cookies is required for the stated purpose of defending our justified interests as well as those of third parties in accordance with Article 6 Para 1 et seq. DSGVO. Most browsers accept cookies automatically. You may, however, configure your browser so that cookies are not saved on your computer or that a reminder appears on each occasion before a new cookie is started. Deactivating cookies completely may, however, result in you being unable to use all the functions on our website.


5. Analyse Tools

a) Tracking Tools
The tracking measures listed below and used by us will be carried out on the basis of Article 6 Para 1 et seq. DSGVO. By using the intended tracking measures we want to ensure that our website is designed so that it is fit for purpose and can be continuously optimised. The other reason for carrying out tracking measures is to record our website use statistically and to analyse the optimisation of our products for you. These interests are to be regarded as being justified for the purposes of the above regulations. The respective data processing objectives and data classifications are shown in the information about tools below. 

etracker
Our website uses the analysis service etracker. The provider is etracker GmbH, Erste Brunnenstraße 1, 20459 Hamburg, Germany. The data enables us to put together a usage profile under a pseudonym. Cookies can be used for this purpose (see Number 4). Cookies are small text files stored locally in a temporary file in the cache in your internet browser. The cookies make it possible to identify your browser again. The data collected with etracker technology is not used to identify visitors to our website in person without separate consent being given by the person concerned and will not be merged with personal data about the person behind the pseudonym.

You may object to your data being collected and stored at any time for future effect. In order to collect and store your visitor data for the future you may use an opt-out cookie from etracker via the link below, with the effect that in future visitor data from your browser will not be collected and saved by etracker www.etracker.de/privacy

6. Social Plug-ins

XING
Our website uses functions of the XING network. The provider of this network is XING AG, Dammtorstraße 29-32, 20354 Hamburg, Germany. On each occasion on which one of our pages containing the XING functions is called off, a link is established with XING servers. As far as we know, personal details are not saved when doing so. In particular no IP addresses are saved and the usage patterns are not analysed.

Our website contains functions of Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom Street, Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. This is passed on to other Twitter users, in particular to your followers. By this means data is transmitted to Twitter. As the provider of our website, we are not informed by Twitter of the contents of the transmitted data or how the data is used. If you visit our website a direct link will be established by the plug-in between your browser and the Facebook server.  As a result of this Facebook receives the information that you have visited our website with your IP address. Under no circumstances will the IP address be linked up with other data relating to the user. The IP addresses will be anonymized so that your identity cannot be worked out (IP-Masking).
 

Analysis by wiredminds
Our website uses a counting pixel technology provided by wiredminds GmbH (www.wiredminds.de) to analyze visitor behavior. If necessary, data is collected, processed
and stored, from which user profiles are created under a pseudonym. Wherever possible and reasonable, these usage profiles are completely anonymized. Cookies can be used for this purpose. Cookies are small text files that are stored in the visitor's Internet browser and serve to recognize the Internet browser. The collected data, which may also contain personal data, will be transmitted to wiredminds or collected directly by wiredminds. wiredminds may use information that is left by visiting the websites to create anonymized usage profiles. The data obtained without explicit consent of the affected person will not be used to personally identify the visitor of this website and will not be merged with personal data of the bearer of the pseudonym. 7. Rights of the person concerned

You are entitled to

  • request information in accordance with Article 15 DSGVO about your personal data which has been processed by us. In particular you may demand information about the reason your personal data has been processed, the type of personal data which has been processed, the type of recipients or intended recipients to whom said information will be disclosed, the length of time over which the information will be stored, whether you are entitled to have the information corrected or deleted, and whether you can have the processing restricted or whether you are entitled to raise an objection to the information being processed and whether you have the right to lodge a complaint, and to demand to know the source of your data insofar as it has not been collected by us, as well as if there is an automatic decision-making process including profiling and if applicable, any meaningful information about the details of this;
  • demand that incorrect or incomplete personal data saved with us is corrected straight away in accordance with Article 16 DSGVO;
  • demand that your personal data saved with us is deleted unless it is necessary to process it to exercise your right of freedom of expression and information, to fulfil a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or to assert, exercise or mount a defence against legal claims, in accordance with Article 17 DSGVO;
  • demand that the processing of your personal data is restricted insofar as the correctness of the data is contested by you, the processing is unlawful, but you reject your option to have it deleted and we no longer need the data, all in accordance with Article 18 DSGVO, Furthermore, you may make said demand if you need to do so to assert, exercise or mount a defence against legal claims or if you have lodged an objection against processing in accordance with Article 21 DSGVO;
  • demand that your personal data made available to us is received by you in a structured, accessible format which can be read by a computer or demand that it is sent to another responsible person, all in accordance with Article 20 DSGVO;
  • revoke the consent already granted to us at any time in accordance with Article 7 Para 3 DSGVO. The result of this will be that we shall no longer be allowed to process data in future as this was dependent upon said consent and
  • complain to a supervisory authority in accordance with Article 77 DSGVO. To do so, you may, as a rule, contact the supervisory authority at your normal place of residence or place of work or where our principal place of business is located.


8. Right of revocation

Insofar as your personal data is processed on the basis of justified interests in accordance with Article 6 Para 1 et seq. DSGVO, you will be entitled to lodge an objection to your personal data being processed in accordance with Article 21 DSGVO, provided that there are reasons attributable to your specific circumstances or if the objection is to direct advertising. In the latter case you will have a general right of objection, which will be accepted by us without you having to state specific circumstances. 9. Data security

For website visits we use the popular SSL system (Secure Socket Layer) in conjunction with the most secure encryption supported by your browser at the time. As a rule this is 256 Bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-Bit encryption, we will instead resort to 128-Bit v3 technology. You will be able to ascertain whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted format from the lock or key icon shown in the locked position in your browser’s status bar.

We avail ourselves, incidentally, the suitable technical and organisational security measures [TOM], with the aim of protecting your data from accidental or intentional tampering, partial or total loss, destruction or against unauthorised access by third parties. Our security measures are enhanced on a continual basis as facilitated by technological developments.
