A special challenge is solved on an individual basis

The wholesaler, which has specialised its business in the management of C-parts, stores over 80,000 articles in its warehouse and distribution centre. In addition, many small articles, e.g. screws, nuts, washers and industrial parts fall within the scope of Kanban supplies. These products are stored in containers. bekuplast developed a special tray for containers which are differently-sized and in part, not conveyable. On account of the existing conveyors, a tray with a stacking cross could not be considered as the barcodes can only be recorded by the reader on the longitudinal side of the container. bekuplast solved this task by supplying a tray which can accommodate various containers with the aid of different heights. The tray with the dimensions 400 x 300 x 40 mm is designed for containers with the basic dimensions 200 x 150 mm, 300 x 200 mm and 400 x 300 mm. The containers which are not conveyable are transported on the tray and placed in storage. The recesses of the tray ensure that the containers are stable and cannot be tipped over.
